The necklace I received was expertly wrapped. Each individual section was crepe paper-wrapped with tape and they even made tabs with the tape so it was easy to unwrap. Very thoughtful. Not to mention the double-boxing they did and bubble wrap so that the treasure inside was not jostled around. Amazing. 🙂

I have been a customer of Fortuna Auctions in New York since 2018. I have repeatedly received such outstanding service from them that I decided to write a review. They are by far the best auction house that I do business with. There are some houses that I’ve stopped buying from because they don’t answer questions about condition reports, or are vague or somewhat dishonest with descriptions, or you don’t get invoices in a timely manner. I’ve even had one house tell me that they had hundreds of items to ship, maybe they’d get to me in a couple of weeks. You will not have any of these problems with Fortuna. Their jewelry team is knowledgeable and truthful in item descriptions. They respond quickly to emails. Just today, I had a question about an item in the auction 2hrs before start time. My email was answered in 30 minutes and the information I received gave me confidence to get the winning bid on their excellent and efficient platform. Fortuna provides beautiful professional photos and a you tube video for each lot which enables you to make a good decision. Bad photos and no videos are a problem with less professional auctioneers who are not really jewelry auctioneers, they are “everything” auctioneers. The items offered by Fortuna have outstanding craftmanship and quality with fair starting bids. If you are looking for a particular item, they will be happy to help you in any way possible. Buying with confidence Is very important to me. The items I've received from Fortuna exceeded expectations. Item descriptions are accurate and post auction shipping is fast and efficient. Give Fortuna a try. You’ll be glad you did.

I was very impressed with Fortuna Auction and will certainly use them again. I had several beautiful rings I was wanting to sell and could not seem to do so at any of my local jewelers. Fortuna was able to inspect my rings, provide an estimate for how much I could sell them for, posted images online, sold them for more than I expected and cut me a check very quickly after the auction.
